GTX Tanks
Our Gemtex GTX tanks outperform virtually every other kind of hot water system due to the vast surface area of our coils. The large surface area coils are specifically designed for condensing boilers and renewable energy sources, with the over-sized coils ensuring a low return temperature at the boiler or renewable energy source. When matched with one of our MYdens boilers hot water can be recovered from 15 degrees to 55 degrees in as little as 12 minutes.
The GTX range is made of 316L stainless steel for long life expectancy and is insulated to the latest European standards and finished in a hard-durable white plastic coating providing an aesthetic finish. Ranges available in our domestic range are 100, 150, 200, 300 & 500 litres.
Each tank comes fully equipped with a pre-wired control panel which consists of a Titanium steel immersion heater and overheat stat which connects directly to the supplied energy shut off valve. The two-way switch located on the control panel allows the user to switch from gas boiler or renewable source to heat the cylinder or to use the immersion heater, this prevents the immersion heater being left on in error.
All ranges come supplied as standard with all components to comply with G3 regulations. The P&T valve is factory fitted with the energy shut off valve, pressure reducing valve, expansion vessel and pressure relief valve supplied in the installation kit. The tank also consists with a full-bore drain kit which is located at the bottom of the tank allowing for 100% of the tank to be drained for maintenance or disinfecting .
